Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi, Kathmandu was established with a motive “Care to Cure” in February 2010. The hospital is a 200-bed facility offering a wide range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services. ==Facts and figures== The main hospital building is 15 stories with separate Lobby Block and Administrative Block 6 and 7 stories respectively, sprawling over an area of 298,999 sq. ft. (32 ropanis). The hospital has 200 bed capacity and 9 elevators and 5 staircases. There are a total of 10 Operating Rooms at GIH consisting of 8 Modular Operating Rooms of which 6 are installed with hepa filters and facilities to broadcast live surgery. Of these operating rooms, 1 is completely dedicated to Joint Replacement surgeries. Of the remaining 2 Modular Operating rooms, one is a Cesarean Room and the other is Emergency Room Operation Theater. There are 2 Minor Operating rooms to cater to Ophthalmology patients. There are 18 ICUs, 12 CCUs and 4 NICs with separate medical gas supply for the isolation rooms. These units have special Critical Care Beds from Stryker so that long term care for the patients becomes more efficient. The ICUs are adorned with hepa filters to keep infection rate low.
